Hi or as we would say in Franconia "Servus",
a couple of months have passed since I started my internship at AutoCom and even though I cannot share something about the amazing sites within and around Detroit, I can still give you an update on what is happening.
Philipp has joined us two months ago and we two are currently working on the Social Media Appearance of AutoCom. Even as "digital nomads" we encounter challenges and still have a lot to learn. However, it is great just to create new things from scratch or nearly immediately see a result when sharing a story or creating a post.
But enough of work…
About Cologne
Larry and the others offered me to go to Cologne to attend a meeting with a client and I - of course - couldn't resist and decided to stay even a bit longer. It was a nice trip with splendid late summer weather and I was able to take a lot of images - at least until my battery died.About cars
Since some of my initial projects were crushed by the current pandemic, I decided to do something else. My mother owns a 31-year old Audi 80 B3 with a total of 75 PS (I know… a lot, isn't it) which is no my car. It is in relatively good shape but a friend of mine and I decided to make the beauty ready for the newest 31 years. I will keep you posted if we do not get too frustrated…
About trees
One of my main goals for 2020 was to finally move out of my parent's basement. As a result, and knowing that the US would be out of reach for the rest of the year, I packed up my stuff and moved into a flat on the other side of my suburb near Nürnberg. While the necessary relocation of all my possessions was quite uncoordinated and badly planned, we had to rely on my beautiful old Audi to equip my new home with everything needed. We moved flowers, paintings, electronics, and last but not least my nearly 170 cm large tree which was placed comfortably at the passenger seat breathing some fresh air while the window was opened. Fortunately, no one saw us…Anyways, that were some of the things that happened since my last post. Let's see what the rest of the year will have in its back.
Stay safe!
Christoph
