I can’t believe that today is the last day of my internship at AutoCom! The last six months flew by so quickly and I had such a great time here that I will remember my whole life. I appreciate having had the opportunity to be one of AutoCom’s interns and obtaining a good personal and professional experience. I had an awesome time with AutoCom Associates and in the United States, in general. I realize there will be plenty of things I will miss when I go back to Germany. There are the obvious ones like not being able to shop 24/7, drawing money from a drive-through ATM, taking a Michigan U-turn when turning left and driving on roads spreading over four lanes, turning right even when the traffic light is showing red, free drink refill in every restaurant, Panera Bread’s Broccoli Cheddar Soup and shopping. ;) Living five minutes walking distance from downtown Royal Oak is something else I won’t have in Germany! And my fabulous American/German housemates, of course!
