First Days in the U.S.

I set out for my first big trip to the United States over one week ago. The 27 hour travel by train and airplane from Frankfurt via Dublin to New York was exciting and exhausting at the same time, so I was very happy when I finally arrived on U.S. grounds. Since it was late evening when I landed, I knew I wouldn’t really get to see a lot of the city when leaving the airport. Just before landing, though, I got a peek of the New York skyline in the distance with a sunset behind it. The scenery was stunning and really gave me a positive feeling of something new starting. Yet Another Summer Intern

Hello AutoCom, My name is Carolin and just as happy as VĂ©ronique to announce that I will also be an AutoCom summer intern. I am currently working on my master’s in international management at FH Worms in Germany. So far, I have completed internships in marketing in London and Germany and found them both to be appealing, so I am looking forward to gain more experience in PR and marketing during the internship at AutoCom. I have been traveling a lot through Europe and was lucky enough to experience great things such as diving in Spain or milking cows in Ireland… but I have never gone further than the EU border until now – partly due to my fear of flying. Nevertheless I wanted to visit the USA ever since I can remember. That’s why it is a special pleasure for me that I have the opportunity to live and work in the U.S. for a longer period of time. As soon as my visa gets through, I’ll be on my way to Bloomfield Hills. I look forward to meeting everyone there, Carolin
