COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT

My first two weeks as an AutoCom intern have gone well. But as I embrace my third week with more comfort and confidence I am now excited to spread my wings and fly. I feel with the nerves gone I can finally show off my fun and creative side. I believe fear can be what holds someone back from greatness. So while I’m an intern at AutoCom I am going to show off my personality and not be some dull employee that doesn’t want to move up in the world. I’m going to bring fresh and hopefully innovative ideas while dealing with our clients in the areas of social media and video. I plan on bringing smiles to the faces of the people I work with, and I hope that by the end of my internship I can call it a success! On another note, I realize that I am one of two interns currently working at AutoCom Associates . And considering Merle is from Germany , I feel obligated to make sure her American experience in Michigan is off the chain. A week ago she experienced an American St. Patrick’s Day, and

Time to say goodbye…or better: see you soon!!

This is my last week with AutoCom and actually I don’t even know what I’m feeling at the moment…I guess it’s because I feel too much at the same time and my mind is simply confused. I’m more than excited about going back to Germany and see all my friends and my family but on the other hand I had a great time here and I never want to miss this experience! The last days were really busy, both at work and in my free time because I try(ed) to do all the things I missed doing in the last five month as well as going to my favorite places again. It is definitely sad to leave AutoCom and Michigan in general but I will be back in the summer and meet all those awesome people here again so I’m leaving with a smile in one eye and a tear in the other. Thank you for this amazing time and experience and see you soon!! Jana

Let's rock and roll !!!

Hello, we are Trevor and Merle . Today we are joining the AutoCom Associates team and are   looking forward to bringing enthusiasm, creativity and an energetic perspective to an already thriving public relations company. We are excited to contribute to AutoCom’s daily business and upcoming events such as the Tech Crawl, the SAE and Traverse City. L et us introduce ourselves: My name is   Trevor, I am 27 years and graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising. I look forward to applying my skills at AutoCom Associates, as well as gaining hand on experience in the field of public relations.   Before interning at Autocom I worked as a freelance journalist and photographer for The Oakland Press where I covered music.   I also part-timed for my family’s auto parts business Mazza Auto Parts, where I specialized in customer relations and took care of inventory. Since my family is a part of the auto industry I take much pride in the a

A first taste of summer.

Last weekend Nina turned one year older and to honor that day the birthday girl, two of her roomies and I took a little trip to Grand Haven, MI. We left early in the morning, grabbed some breakfast on the way and after a three hours drive we were stunned by this amazing scenery: Grand Haven is a cute little city located on the shore of Lake Michigan. It was founded by French settlers and started off as a fur-trading outpost. Today the town is very popular as a get-away due to the nice beach area and pleasant water temperature in the summer time.   The red Grand Haven Lighthouses were built in 1875 and 1905 and are connected by a lighted catwalk which runs along the pier to the shore. Now, Michigan weather has not yet given us any major signs of spring and though we are sure Grand Haven State Park is a great spot to hang out in summer we were just amazed about how this place looks with all the ice and snow.   We were also very lucky weather-wise and enjoyed as muc
