Go Blue!

Last weekend some friends invited me to the Michigan/Michigan State football game at the Big House in Ann Arbor. It is supposed to be the “game of the games” and I was really excited to go there.
I left my home at 7:30 am and met my friends in Northville. At 9:00 am we started tailgating at the golf course in front of the Ann Arbor stadium. Tailgate parties have become popular in the United States as social gatherings events that take place in stadium parking lots before football games. One of my friends fit me with Michigan shirts.
We had a great time, met lots of fun people, had good food and of course good drinks. Six hours later the game started. Since it was a very cold day, I couldn’t wait to stand close to some people. It was so crowded, almost every seat was taken.
I was surprised how Michigan and Michigan State fans were seated together. In a German soccer game this would be impossible because of big fights between the fans. However in Ann Arbor the atmosphere was great and we cheered the entire time for U of M. Our team lost unfortunately. Anyway I can’t wait for my next football game.
I bought my own Michigan shirts a couple days after the game. Now I feel prepared for our next cheering in hopefully two weeks.

Great post, although the final outcome wasn't so great.

There's always next year to look forward to. I suppose it's OK if MSU wins every 10 years or so.

It feels good to be home!

After completing my third year at Northern Michigan University in the Upper Peninsula, it feels good to be back home and in the office again. Larry was very gracious in allowing me to come back to AutoCom. For those of you that do not know me, my name is Tedi Falvo. Last summer I did an internship with AutoCom, and learned a lot about public relations outside of the classroom. Books can only teach you so much- the real learning comes when you go out on your own and put everything you have learned to the test. Last summer was a great experience, and I was thankful to work with such a great staff that was willing to help me succeed. While I was in Marquette, Mich. continuing my studies in public relations, and sociology, I remained in contact with AutoCom. A New Year, a New Intern

Hi everybody, My name is Véronique and I am happy to say that I will be one of the new interns at AutoCom beginning on March 19. I am a 21 year old student from Germany. The internship is part of my International Business & Management degree that I am working on at the Hanze University in Groningen, Netherlands. I am currently in my third year at Hanze University and the previous semester I studied abroad at a partner university in Macau, China, where I took courses related to my marketing major. I am very excited to start my second stay abroad in a few weeks and I hope that I will gain a lot of professional experience and get to know the area of public relations while working at AutoCom. I also love traveling, so I hope I will be able to see as much of the U.S. as possible, especially since it is my first stay there.
