Hi everyone J It is almost November - it is getting colder and colder in Michigan, there is already frost during the night and my internship is already halfway done. I cannot believe that the time has passed so fast. During the last weekends Nicole and I were traveling to Canada and up-North, where we were able to enjoy the colorful trees and the changing vegetation. At Nicoles’ first weekend we travelled to Toronto with her new car, which did a great job driving through seasons’ first snow storm. Unfortunately, we arrived quite late and were only able to see this great city by night. We did the sky walk, enjoyed the lighting and walked through the streets looking at the impressive architecture. We finished our day with a dinner in a sweet traditional pub, watching hockey match. On Sunday we planned to visit the Niagara Falls on the Canadian site. Hi everybody, I am Nicole – the new intern at AutoCom for the next six months and I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in technology and management back home at the University of Munich in Germany. I am really curious about all the new things I will learn and I am totally ready for supporting my team as good as possible. To be honest it was really hard saying goodbye to my family and friends and a picture and a teddy is all I have of them. But you always have to keep in mind six months will be shorter than you thought and there is actually no time for home sickness. I was not very nervous before my trip; there was too much trouble at the airport. My first flight was delayed, so they booked me on another flight and then my connection flight was delayed – oh god!!! Since patience is not really my strong suit, I was so stressed out! … It was summer time in Northern Michigan! Hello again! As Niko and Merle are already gone, it is quite empty and quiet in the AutoCom office… I hope both of them had a relaxing flight and arrived safely back home. I wish Niko all the best for his future and an amazing road trip across California. Do not forget to share some pictures with us!!!
