Today marks the last day of my internship with AutoCom.
Looking back it is hard to believe that it has already been six months. Time
flies when you are busy and I sure was. I learned so much and am very grateful
for the experience. I really appreciated to have had the opportunity to talk to
so many people who have been in the PR business for decades. It was very
interesting to listen to their stories and I am thankful for the time they took
to share those with me.
Later today I will shut down my computer for the last time.
For the last time I will turn off the lights, switch the phones to “night” and
lock the door. I will for the last time walk down that staircase, get in my car
and drive off. Let me tell you: No matter how often you have done this in your
life, leaving never gets any easier.
However, I am leaving with a suitcase full of great
memories, a lot learned and sincere love of the people I met, and grew fond of
during my stay. With that in mind I am not afraid of whatever is awaiting me in
the future because I know I can count on my experience and some amazing people.
My mountain is waiting. I am on my way.
