Interns@AutoCom

Hi everyone, Over the years it has become tradition that every new intern at AutoCom introduces herself/himself on the AutoCom Intern Blog. Now it is my turn! My name is Miriam and I am 23 years old. Just before I arrived in Detroit, I lived in Brussels for three months, where I interned at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU. When I am not doing internships, I am studying International Cultural and Business Studies at the University of Passau. Originally, I am from LA… Landshut (Bavaria) and not Los Angeles (California)! This isn’t my first visit to Michigan. Seven years ago, I spent three weeks in Lansing visiting friends. Back then, I would have never imagined that someday I would have the opportunity to do an internship at a public relations agency in the Detroit area. Now I am here in Bloomfield Hills, and it is just perfect! I spent my first couple of days in the United States applying for my social security card, opening my bank account, buying a cell phone
